Helping Hands International's annual Southern Oregon Makeover project focuses on coming alongside a local non-profit who is in need of renovations to continue serving our community. In 2023, we helped Wilderness Trails, a local non-profit providing camps for at-risk youth for over 55 years, improve their out space by building new decks for their t-pee platforms, repairing a bridge, painting outhouses etc. In 2022, we came alongside the Pregnancy Center to renovate apartment space, a kitchen and common living quarters for women with unexpected pregnancies to encourage them to keep their babies. In 2021, we built a two story space for Westside Compassionate Ministries to serve Washington Elementary students who needed the space for an after school bible club. In 2024, we plan to provide much needed improvements at U-Turn for Christ so that they can continue serving our S. Oregon community and would love your help!
