Helping Hands International, Inc. began praying about the idea of partnering with Pacific Bible College (PBC) to rollout a 2-year Gap Program starting in 2019 in which students from PBC would travel to an HHI global partner location and spend 1-2 months learning what it means to be a missionary "in the field".

We had to pause the rollout due to COVID but continued to pray, work through the logistics and complete online survey's to gauge interest levels. And, we are now happy to share that the Gap-Year missions program - which combines a theological education with a three-month internship in a foreign country serving alongside the nationals of that country for the furtherance of the gospel - is here!

PBC students, who are actively enrolled and in good standing with PBC's Administration, will have the opportunity to participate on a short term overseas service project of their choice with Helping Hands International. The students will travel the world and meet people from “every nation, tribe, and language” (Revelation 7:9) to discern whether the mission field is a calling on their life, while simultaneously receiving a life-changing cross cultural experience and 33 college credits!

In order to run this Gap-Year Program, we need your help raising funds! If you would like to join us in supporting this ministry in 2023, please donate here. Thank you!

P.S. If you have a friend, high school graduate or someone who is interested in the mission field (and possibly this specific program), please Tim Plankenhorn (541-414-3341) at Helping Hands International or Elijah at Elijah.t@pacificbible.edu (Pacificbible.edu).
