Helping Hands International's 2022 Southern Oregon Makeover project will focus on remodeling apartments for five new families at the Women's Gospel Mission, on behalf of The Pregnancy Center! Specifically, we plan to remodel five apartments, a communal kitchen, remove and replace flooring, update five bathrooms and possibly add a patio cover! The Pregnancy Center expects to rotate families in and out of the newly remodeled space every 1.5 years, which means this project will initially bless eight local residents (five moms and their babies) but, approximately 66 individuals by year 10! The impact of this project to the S. Oregon community is priceless considering housing insecurities will be removed for the first 18 months each family lives in the space and approximately 33 abortions will be avoided within a decade!
